Wood is a medium that lends itself to creativity, inspirational, and “out-of-the-box” designs, culminating in some original and unique pieces. Imagination in turning allows for pieces of beauty — some whimsical, and some dramatic — but all varied forms created from wood. Some pieces which are both unusual and technically challenging to complete are sculptures, hollow forms, intricate finials, slated vessels and vases, and jockey shorts.
